Requirements Are:
• Subject matter expert
• Must have vast experience in the field
• Capable of dealing with more than 50 learners per day
• Be up to date with the Recent technology in IT field
• Speak fluent English/ other African language
• Have brilliant mentoring skills
• Have an understanding of Unit Standards according to SAQA
• Bonus if dealt with Learnership Before
• Better chances of employment if done learnership before
• Added advantage if qualified as an assessor
Main Description:
• The facilitator must be a positive role model. Directs activities and empower learners utilizing challenge by choice. Deals calmly and efficiently with stressful situations and people.
• Excellent communication skills are required. Facilitators should be able to adapt effectively communicating to a broad range of individuals from varied backgrounds and engaging communication between others.
• Cultivates learning among the individuals and the groups, including the technical skills as well as the experiential aspects of the course.
• Must be familiar with Unit Standards.
• Guide and support learners within context of conducting facilitation.
• Submit weekly reports on learners progress.
